Stray Dogs of Nicaragua Canvas
Every painting here was made in oil and charcoal on unstretched canvas, most of them four to five feet across. Reproduced on canvas again, the weave sits under the image the way it does in the original.
Twenty-four paintings, each in four square sizes from 20 to 50 centimetres. The dogs were painted one at a time over several years in Granada, and they are titled as individuals rather than numbered.
